This page lists all the Carbohydrate Esterase (CE) Family pages in CAZypedia that have been given Curator Approved status, as well as those that are currently under construction.
Overview
As described in the CAZy database CE familes page header:
"Carbohydrate esterases [also formally including carbohydrate amidases] catalyze the de-O or de-N-acylation of substituted saccharides.
