User:Hitomi Ichinose
Hitomi Ichinose is a postdoctoral fellow in the National Food Research Institute (NFRI), National Agriculture and Food Research Organization, Japan. She obtained her BSc degree in science from Rikkyo (St. Paul’s) University in Tokyo (1999). She moved to Tsukuba, and she started working on GHs in the group of Dr. Satoshi Kaneko (2000). She joined the group (2000-2012), working on hemicellulases such as arabinogalactan-proteins, arabinan, and xylan-degrading enzymes. She obtained PhD degree from Graduate School of Science in the Rikkyo University (2012). She contributed to finding and characterization of beta-L-arabinopyranosidase (GH27) [1], and also contributed to characterization of endo-beta-1,6-galactanase (GH30) [2] and exo-beta-1,3-galactanase (GH43) [3].
