Dr. Abbott is a Research Scientist for Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) based at the Lethbridge Research Centre in Lethbridge, Alberta. His research program is investigating the mechanisms of complex carbohydrate modification by intestinal bacteria, and developing applications for carbohydrates in animal productivity and human intestinal health.
