Manjeet Kaur obtained her B.Sc and M.Sc. in Botany from University of Delhi  and completed her Ph.D. under the supervision of Appa Rao Podile  at Department of Plant Sciences, University of Hyderabad . She obtained fellowship from Council of Scientific and Industrial research (CSIR) for pursuing Ph.D. She also obtained DFG- fellowship for her research stay in Westfalische Willhelms-Universitat Muenster, Germany where she worked with Prof. Bruno M Moerschbacher  in Institute for Biology and Biotechnology. Her work focused on auxiliary roles of bacterial carbohydrate binding modules (CBMs), lytic polysaccharide mono-oxygenases (LPMOs) and their synergistic effect with bacterial chitinases [1, 2, 3]. She is presently working as an Assistant Professor-Guest in University of Delhi.
