The 3-hydroxy groups of the substrate at Subsite +2 are indicated in green, orange and blue. These colors represent the substrate in Step1, the substrate during the cyclization reaction in Step2, and the substrate during the disproportionation reaction in Step2, respectively.
The substrates at subsite -1 in Step1 and at subsite +2 during the disproportionation reaction in Step2 are shown in red and cyan, respectively. 'Sopns’ and 'βG’ represent β-1,2-glucoligosaccharides and β-1,2-glucan, respectively.
