The Carbohydrate Bioengineering Meeting (CBM) series was organized in 1995 by Sven Pedersen, Birte Svensson, and Steffen B. Petersen, and was fostered in subsequent biennial meetings (see Meeting history below).
CBM witnessed the tremendous expansion of the field of glycosciences, constantly growing and becoming a consolidated interdisciplinary forum. This meeting series aims to showcase state-of-the-art of research on basic and applied aspects of carbohydrate bioengineering, with the purpose of stimulating high quality research and inspiring both established and young scholars of glycoscience.
