Introduction and background

From CBM1 in Elsinor (Denmark), and in the following meetings in La Rochelle, Newcastle, Stockholm, Groningen, Barcelona, and Braunschweig (2007), CBM series witnessed the tremendous expansion of glycosciences in the last fourteen years constantly growing and becoming a consolidated biennial interdisciplinary forum in glycobiology.
