This category provides a 'Lexicon' of links to pages that provide definitions of terms and explanations of concepts used in CAZypedia. The aim of the lexicon is to provide a precise definition of various specialized terms unique to carbohydrate chemistry,[1, 2] as well as to provide a general overview of the classification and mechanism of major enzyme classes [3, 4, 5].
